Topic profile, attributes and metrics
For advanced users: what a site compares is configuration, not code. The topic profile describes attributes, comparison metrics, filters, sort orders, display, copy and AI rules. The assistant creates it from your topic sentence and lets you edit it in forms.
Attributes
| Type | Example | Used for |
|---|---|---|
auswahl (choice) |
tent type: dome, tunnel, pop up | filters with fixed values |
zahl (number) |
persons, weight in kg, protein per 100 g | metrics, range filters, plausibility limits |
ja_nein (yes/no) |
blackout, vegan | feature filters, badges |
text |
material | display only |
Numbers have a unit, decimals and plausibility limits. Values outside the limits are discarded instead of producing wrong comparisons.
Comparison metrics
{"code": "preis_person", "label": "je Person", "lang": "Preis je Person",
"rechnung": [["/", "personen"]], "formel_text": "= Preis ÷ Personen"}
A metric starts from the price (or a number attribute) and applies steps with * or / in order. If a value is missing or a divisor is 0, the metric stays empty. The first metric is the main one: default sort, top lists, comparison table. Price based metrics only use fresh prices (younger than 24 hours). The database does the maths, not the AI.
Filters, sort orders, categories
Filters: brand, choice values, yes/no features (all selected must match) and ranges (ab, bis, ueber, unter). Sort orders combine metrics, attributes, price, name and brand. Every category has a rule in short form, for example bauart=kuppelzelt; personen>=3. Categories can carry fixed copy, otherwise the texte job writes it.
