Cron service
Your site needs no cron at your host. The control center calls scheduled jobs from outside, signed and in small portions.
- It calls
https://your-site/cron.php?job=<name>, signed with your site's secret (HMAC-SHA256) and valid for five minutes. Invalid signatures get status 403. - One call handles a portion of about 20 seconds at most. If the job is not finished, the site answers
weiterand the control center calls again right away. - If the same job is already running, the site answers
beschaeftigtand the control center retries. - Jobs that hit the gateway quota stop as interrupted and continue at the next run.
| Default schedule (Berlin time) | Jobs |
|---|---|
| six times a day | preise, zuordnung |
| daily, morning | amazon-suche, extraktion, zuordnung, texte |
| daily, night | aufraeumen, status |
You change schedules as cron expressions under Site, Cron. Every run is logged. Missed runs of the last six hours are caught up once.
Monitoring: availability check every five minutes, status hourly. Email alerts for repeated cron failures, failed deploys, changed core files and a site that is unreachable twice in a row, with an all clear when fixed.
