Onboarding step by step

The assistant takes you from domain to finished site in nine steps. Every step is saved immediately and you can go back at any time. Changes reach the site with the next deploy.

  1. Domain and path: a whole domain such as https://compare.example.com or a subdirectory such as https://example.com/compare/. The assistant checks format, DNS and HTTPS and creates the site as inactive.
  2. Topic and page tree: one sentence describing what to compare. The AI proposes audience, attributes with units and plausibility limits, comparison metrics, a page tree with category rules like bauart=kuppelzelt; personen>=3, brands, Amazon search terms and exclusions. Everything is editable. See topic profile.
  3. Design: four themes (dark, light, minimal, outdoor), your own colours or colours from the logo, live preview with the real core CSS.
  4. Logo: four AI proposals (two word marks, two icons) or your own upload (PNG, WebP, SVG without scripts, up to 2 MB). Favicon and app icons are generated.
  5. Affiliate sources: your Amazon partner tag (required), your own Creators API credentials with a test button, or starter mode. See Amazon.
  6. Legal: generated imprint and privacy policy from building blocks, or links to your own pages. See legal.
  7. Hosting: SSH or SFTP access and database. Add the public key of the control center to ~/.ssh/authorized_keys at your host. The hosting check verifies connection, permissions, PHP, extensions, limits, outgoing HTTPS and database. See hosting.
  8. Initial fill: first deploy, then the jobs amazon-suche (search), extraktion (extraction), preise (prices), zuordnung (assignment), texte (copy) and status with live progress. A few minutes up to about an hour.
  9. Go live: checks home page, sitemap and robots.txt, noindex switch, then cron jobs, monitoring and alerts become active.
